SL Inspector automatically assesses applications for exposure, vulnerabilities, and deviations from best practices. After performing an assessment, SL Inspector produces a detailed list of security findings prioritized by severity level. These findings are reviewable directly or as part of detailed assessment reports, available via the SL Inspector console or API.
Pricing
The assessment includes any combination of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE), Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmarks, Security Best Practices, and Runtime Behavior Analysis. SL Inspector's host assessment rules packages use an agent deployed on the SL EC2 Instances running the applications you want to assess.
The price on assessments with the host rules packages is on a per agent-assessment basis. For example, if you run one assessment with one agent, that will make one(1) agent-assessment. If you run one(1) assessment against ten(10) agents, that is ten(10) agent-assessments. The pricing starts at $0.30 per agent-assessment per month with a volume discount lowest to $0.05 per agent-assessment per month.

SL WAF gives you control over how traffic reaches your applications by enabling you to create security rules that block common attack patterns, such as SQL injection or cross-site scripting, and custom-defined filtering rules against specific traffic patterns. You can get started quickly using Managed Rules for SL WAF, a pre-configured set of rules managed by SL or SL Marketplace Sellers. The Managed Rules for WAF address issues like the OWASP Top 10 security risks. These rules are regularly updated as any new issues emerge. SL WAF includes a full-featured API that you can use to automate the creation, deployment, and maintenance of security rules.
SL WAF charges base on the number of web access control lists (web ACLs) you create, the number of rules that you add per web ACL, and the number of web requests that you receive. There are no upfront commitments. SL WAF charges are in addition to Amazon CloudFront pricing, Application Load Balancer (ALB) pricing, Amazon API Gateway pricing, and/or SL AppSync pricing.
